dkaur
Can I apply fro my parent's Visitor Visa while their GC application is pending? My Uncle(Mom's Brother),who is a US citizen, had applied for my parents GC(family based) long back(6-7 years ago). Since they are already GC applicants,if I want to apply for their US Visitor Visa(B2),could there be any chances of Visa Denial because of already filled GC application ? Please share if anyone of you had similar experience or have any knowledge regarding this. Thanks P.S: I'm a EAD card holder. Link to comment
pontevecchio
There is a significant chance of denial. They may get lucky and a kind VO may buy grant the visa as the GC would take a long time. Only one way to find out. Have them apply. Link to comment
JoeF
With the I-130 pending, they have shown immigration intent. So, it would be very hard for them to get a visitor visa. Oh, and you don't apply for them. They apply on their own. Link to comment
dkaur
Thanks pontevecchio and JoeF. @JoeF: Why do you suggest that my parents apply for their visa themselves?Any reasons for that? If I apply,do you think their are high chances of denial? Thanks!! Link to comment
JoeF
@JoeF: Why do you suggest that my parents apply for their visa themselves?Any reasons for that? That's how it works. An applicant always applies for a visitor visa himself/herself. The applicant fills out the visa application, the applicant signs it. Link to comment
