KSLRK
Hi, I'm currently working for full time as a associate civil engineer with Employer A. I'm currently in 6th year of H1B, and the period ends Dec 2012. Employer A doesn’t sponsor GC. Employer A is very good given the benefits and compensation and its not a consulting company. I found Employer B who is willing to sponsor GC as a future employee. If I get labor approved and pending I-140 with Employer B. Can I get 7th year H1B extension with Employer A? If possible can some refer to any written clause/adjudicator manual. Thanks in Advance! LRK Link to comment
pontevecchio
Extensions beyond 6 years of H1 status are based on 1. LABOR pending 365 days...one year extensions.... 2. Approved I-140...3 year extensions. GC sponsor and H12 sponsor need not be the same. Link to comment
