swastikg503
Dear Friends/Seniors, Unfortunately I was victim of fraud and my marriage ended up in divorce in USA. All divorced process completed in USA. Now she is student visa and no more dependent on me.I am travelling to india for good now. I've submitted the DS-160 form with confirmation page with divorced marital status. I am planning to attend the visa interview after marriage if next marriage goes well. I have some worries. I have given in details below. 1) My H1B ext petition approved. When i will appear for H1B ext stamping, I might be married. Will it be any problem as i've submitted the DS-160 form in USA with divorced status to book the appointment ? 2) Will this divorce impact my H1B ext visa stamping ? 3) Will this divorce impact my next wife H4 stamping ? I have all documents handy. 4) Do I need to complete any formalities before I leave USA ? Could you please help me in this weird situation ? what should I do ? Thank you very much friends and seniors for all your help and suggestions/advise. I would be grateful for that. Link to comment

pontevecchio
The divorce is not material. In future you would need proof of Marriage to get your spouse a H4 visa if you intend to work in H1 status. You should just move on. If you are leaving what does the form DS-160 have to do with you? swastikg503
Thank you Pontevechhio. Your advise is really helping me.I required to fill the DS-160 form to schedule a visa interview. When I will appear for the interview, that time DS-160 form will not be updated. Is that any problem ? Thanks again. Link to comment
pontevecchio
In any case you will need to fill up a fresh DS-160 every time you apply for the visa. Link to comment
