pontevecchio
You would seem to be covered by Automatic Visa revalidation aka AVR for trips less than 30 days to Mexico and Canada. Entry requirements like visa for Canada, Mexico remain in force. Link to comment

Thanks This is fairly common it seems. I just got done with this yesterday. Make sure you have a Canadian temporary resident visa so that you can get in to Canada. I went to Ottawa. Here is my experience http://forum.murthy.com/index.php?/topic/32147-successful-h1b-stamping-in-ottawa-on-january-17th-2012/ Link to comment
