scholarship/tuition waiver/RA on part time phd using EAD

now with my PD becoming current, I hope to get EAD soon.

So by keeping my current H1B job, can I accept RA position to pursue my part time engineering PhD using EAD? I have heard that with EAD one can do any other job as long as the employment with company who sponsored the GC is maintained.

If you are going to use the EAD as a basis of working the current job and also accepting the RA position you are fine.

ou heard wrong. On EAD you can work for anyone or not.
