GC not valid, other options?

My great uncle got his green card through his daughter( US citizen) and lived here for 2 years. He went to india and could not come back beacuse of medical problems. He is gone for almost 3 years. Is there any way we can get his GC back or is there any way we can brong him back into the country. His wife is a US citizen also. She became a naturalized citizen recently. any help is appreciated.

Sure. Have his wife file for his GC. But first run the scenario by a Lawyer to see if there are any short cuts.
