GCProcess2050
My parents are currently in India and visiting USA in the month of Feb, 2012. During their stay in the USA, we plan to file their Green Card. Is it allowed by USCIS to get their medical done and submit form I-693 (Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination Record) by an approved USCIS Designated Civil Surgeon from India when filing I-485 in the USA or medical must be done in the USA when filing I-485 from USA. The reason is getting required vaccinations and I-693 for two people is comparatively much much cheaper in India than in USA. Link to comment

pontevecchio
For AOS they need the medicals here. You should plan to file their GC via CP. Link to comment
GCProcess2050
They need CP even when they file GC (AOS) in the USA. Please clarify? Link to comment
pontevecchio
There is a risk in coming here as a tourist and then filing AOS. Why is it not possible to do it the right way with CP? That is my point. What is the fierce urgency of the matter. There is no extra delay involved. Link to comment
