yprav45 Posted November 4, 2011 Report Share Posted November 4, 2011 Hi, I have 2009 approved i140 but my previous employer is closing his business in next month, and I have below queries. 1. I got full time employment in sept.2010 while my prev. employer i140 got approved in april 2011. and my new employer filed labor which was approved in Aug. 2011 and currently in the process of i140 filing, will that previous employer i140 is still valid for priority date of the current one? 2. since I moved to new employer and then after 6 months, I got previous employer i140 approved, will that be still valid or is there any rule that I should work for previous employer for atleast 6 months after I got approved of previous i140? 3. I have my previous employer i140 notice copy and can I still use it for the new one priority date? Appreciate all the needful answers. Thanks & Regards, YPrav Link to comment
