hitda Posted June 6, 2011 Report Share Posted June 6, 2011 Hello, my wife appeared for her interview at new delhi consulate for H4 cat visa on 21 April 2011. She pesented every document she was asked for and yet somehow she didnt seem convinced. There were many documents so she gave one GREEN slip to ask my wife to give all documents to the consulate and they told that they will check all documents and get back to us. They also took the passport for the same. She didnt confirm post the iview whether it was a accept or a reject. She wasnt issued any pink ,green or blue slips and no communication from the consulate either whether they require my wife to produce any addtnl documents. Its been 30 working days post her interview and the status message on vfs website is the same that... That your pasport is under processing at the US consulate ...... How long can they retain the passport? How much time consulate will take to either reject or accept the Visa? Can we expedite the H4B visa process in any way? ....Pl help Any reasons why consulate is doing like this with so many people. Thanks, hitda Link to comment
