rajeev.chennupati Posted October 17, 2011 Report Share Posted October 17, 2011 Hello - I have got my H1 extn in Sep 2010, my wife went to india and got her H4 stamped came back in Dec 2010 with new visa. Recently my H1 got amended , Does my wife have to get H4 stamped again if she goes to India or H4 stamp based on previous petition is still holds good. My amendment is for change of place. I f I go to India and get my stamping with amended petition, Does my wife's H4 still hold good. Thanks ****** Link to comment

pontevecchio Posted October 18, 2011 Report Share Posted October 18, 2011 If tyou get stamped have her also get the stamp at that time. There is no requirement for her to get a new stamp. Any facially valid H4 visa is valid for entry with your latest valid H1 petition approval. Link to comment
