neha26
My parents are with my sister in New Jersey on visitor visa. I am in Texas. Can I file the green card papers for them, while they stay in NJ? Or Do they need to be with me in Texas? 1: Will it create any problem because I am providing the affidavit of support and the parents are not staying with me? 2: Where will the parents go for finger print/interview etc 3: which service center will the application be processed? Thanks for your help. Link to comment
JoeF
Are you a US citizen? Only US citizens can sponsor GCs for their parents. Link to comment

pontevecchio
One wants to avoid the issue of impropriety presumably since this was not a last minute decision. Link to comment
