giri_sayee
Hello everyone - I am currently on my 7th yr of H1. I was earlier working for Company X ,had an approved I-140 and just before the end of my sixth year, i filed for a transfer and a extension with a new Company Y. The transfer was approved for 3 yrs based on my approved I-140 with Company X.I have since been working for Company Y for the past 3 months.I am not sure on the status of my original H1 and I-140 filed by Company A. My assumption is that they would have contacted USCIS to withdraw all my documents as soon as i resigned. In hindsight, i believe i acted in haste as Company Y is not too keen on filing for a Green Card any time soon. I have now been offered a better position with another Company Z and am considering applying for another transfer. Is this feasible or do i have to wait until I have an approved I-140 from Company Y? pontevecchio
It is feasible. You need to discuss your specifics with your Lawyer to cover your bases. Link to comment
