EB3 to EB3 porting question

Hi

I am in EB3 with Priority Date Aug 2004. Given the huge backlog in this category, I am planning to file EB2 and port from EB3 to EB2. I have 3 years commerce degree and passed ICWA exams (similar to CPA course here). As per education evaluation report, my education is equated as Bachelor of Business Administration’ of US.I have 7 years in accounting and 10 years in IT industry. Currently I am working as IT consultant.

My current EB3 is being filed in Oct 2005, since then I have added another 5 years to my IT experience. Based on current IT experience of 10 years and Bachelor’s degree (based on education evaluation report), Can I file my labor in EB2 category?

Would appreciate your suggestions in this regard.

You would need to find a sponsor with a job staisfying EB2 requirements.
