URGENT: I94 of Principal alein (H1B) Expiring , USCIS is asking form I129 with LCA and education evaluation etc.

Experts,

I am the principal Alien (H1B). My I94 is expiring in september, 2011 but I have a valid Visa and I797 till 2012. I recently got my passport renewed. Checked with most of the CBP offices but they said I have to go to USCIS to get the extention of stay (otherwise this is considered as fraud). When called USCIS to get the information of the form to submited they said I129 need to be submitted again by the employer with new LCA and education evaluation etc. And form I539 will be submitted for dependents along with I129. Is there any other way to get the extention? How about going out of country like Canada and then coming back if that helps? For how many days I have to stay out of county and renter to get the extended I94.. Pls Help.. This is urgent

You can just walk across the border and come back with a new I94. YOU have to ask.
