butterflylifegreen Posted July 21, 2011 Report Share Posted July 21, 2011 Couple of months back my husband's employer filed for H1B and my H4 visa extensions by filing I129 for him and I539 for me . for this we received the I797 NOA with same dates on both the applications. Two days back When we checked the case status for me and my husband...it shows approved for my husband and initial review for me. Shouldn't they be approved at the same time...why are they holding my application back Is there a problem? are these applications processed simoultaneously or separately Link to comment
pontevecchio Posted July 21, 2011 Report Share Posted July 21, 2011 If Premium Processing is used for the H1 then both petitions are processed together. If PP is not used different centers are involved and the processing is separate. Link to comment
