L1 to H1 with COS Issue

Hello

I am working for Company A in L1A. Company B is applying for H1B with change of Status. I would like to know what will happen if my H1 with COS get rejected. Will my L1 become in valide since Company B is applying with COS.

I know that if we apply only H1 without COS, then I can still work with my Company A L1 Visa.

My question is what is we Apply H1 with COS and if it get rejected. Can I still work with my L1 for My Current company.

If any one experienced any similar issue, please help me.

If the COS gets rejected, you remain in whatever status you were before.
