outbackrider
Hello All, I received my card this weeek and am in the process of applying for my wife as a derivate. I hope there are a few others in the same situation. Can you please share how this process is coming along and what are the expectations in terms of time frame for the process to complete? My spouse is currently on a H1. Thnx Link to comment
pontevecchio
You need to be much more specific about your situation and hers. Link to comment
khans6uf
I am in the exact same situation except I got my GC last month and my spouse' application (for aos, ead and ap) was received on 06/04 and her receipt date is 06/07. Havent heard anything since then even though her case shows as updated on 07/14. Waiting for biometrics but its been more than 45 days now. She's on an H1 Link to comment

outbackrider
Thanks khans6uf & aeon. I have her medicals scheduled for next week and hoping to have the application with USCIS by end of July. I originally planned to add her after she gets a stamping done in Dec (she moved from H4 to H1 here in the US), but looking at the current trend of delays and problems with obtaining H1 stampings in India, it seems less risky to go and come back on an AP or GC. What is your take on getting EAD and AP in 4 months, by End of Novemeber? My PD is Feb 17 2009, TSC, EB2, India Thnx Link to comment
