in4gc
Current status (Employment based EB3, PD: Dec 2004, on EAD). Working for new employer on EAD. New employer is not able to sponsor Green Card. Can I work with my own lawyer and with my own expenses, process the EB2 green card (starting with Labor certification, I-140 and I-485) on my own as long as new employer can provide supporting documents but no legal support? Please Advise. Thank you, Din Link to comment
Belle
I believe, the employer has to pay for legal fees for LC. Link to comment
pontevecchio
NO. PERM aka Labor certification HAS to be done by the GC sponsor. Link to comment
pontevecchio
Just adding the PERM expenses are all the employers. After that the I-140 is up to your agreement with the employer and you can pay for part or all of that. Link to comment
