a0756944 Posted August 1, 2011 Report Share Posted August 1, 2011 One of my relative is in EB3(PD Jul 2004). He is laid off with 4 months salary(just paid on the lay off day, not on payroll anymore). There are many things, like whether the lay off impacts status, whether your relative even needs to maintain status, whether there is an opportunity to get a job in a similar profession, etc. Link to comment
