bianca
I've been sick last month and was running on unpaid leave for which employer didn't generated the pay stub. Is it illegal from employer's side not running pay stub while on personal leave? I got an offer from another company. I want to transfer my h1b. Can h1 be transferred in this situation? pontevecchio
They can file and if the petition is approved for CP you can leave and come back on the H1 visa. Link to comment
viks79
For a typical legit employer, they have to generate a paystub and mark sick with appropriate code on it. You will need the paystub in you next transfer.Ask them to generate it even if its not showing anything paid to you. If you are working with a consultancy, they typically try to avoid cost of running payroll for which you werent billable. But hopefully they can still do it on your request. Link to comment
