I am picked into H1b lottery this year(2024).My question is whether my current h1b (cap exempt) used time will be counted towards 6 years limit of h1b or whether I will get another 6 years on h1b cap (lottery)? Zodiac System Posted May 6 Report Share Posted May 6 Are you out of the country for more than one year? To get into a H1b lottery, the candidate has to be outside of US for one whole complete year.
