lifesurfer
My spouse is on maternity leave (FMLA) and it is time to file her h1b extension. We are concerned about paychecks because paychecks on short term disability are much smaller. Basically she gets whatever little short term disability insurance payments she is entitled to. Otherwise, it is unpaid from her employer. Will there be issues with H1B extension during FMLA? How to best approach this and what strategy to take to ensure that the extension/renewal goes smoothly? Thanks Quote Link to comment
Zodiac System
Candidates on H1b are allowed to take maternity leave. A letter from the hospital/doctor should be good to serve your purpose. Good Luck. Quote Link to comment
