H4 to H4EAD conversion and timelines

Hello,

I am in a situation where I am a naturalized UK citizen(hold an Indian OCI card) and married to a person in the USA on H1B visa. I had travelled to US couple of time on ESTA last year.

1.I got lottery picked last year and have an H1B approval notice from my employer. However, he is reluctant to help me with this due to current market situation. I am being asked to work from another country where the company's operations are based out for certain time period to progress with next steps.

2.Now that, I am blessed with a marriage and intend to join my partner early, I was mentioned I should be able to work once I receive EAD based on his H1B status.

I am seeking for an advise on the H4 route and how do I go about applying for H4 EAD whilst I am in the UK.

Is it possible to apply for H4 and H4EAD simultaneously from the UK?

Is it possible for me to enter in to the states through H4 and then apply for H4 EAD immediately(as in the very next day)?

Is it possible for me to enter and exit the states to the UK for my work purposes whilst my H4EAD processing is in place?

What are the timelines I should be mindful of for me to make a move?

Please can you provide some guidance on my situation.
