KRS123 Posted February 28 Report Share Posted February 28 I am currently working at Amazon and got laid off on Jan 17 and I put fmla for till 3 months to stop the notification period so my fmla is getting over in 19 April and after then i will have 48 days in amazon . So my question is: 1) If i file H1 from consultancy and i got job in April or may ca i tie up both this things 2) Amazon already filed H1 for me but i will be not there in Amazon till October or November till my h1 gets active so what other options i would have for applying for H1 as it's my 2nd attempt Quote Link to comment

If you have a consultancy willing to add you to H1b lottery for year 2025, please go for it. H1b lottery registration for H1b lottery for year 2025 starts only on March 06, 2024 therefore likelihood of Amazon already filing your H1b is rare (unless I am missing something here) Quote Link to comment
