H1B stamped but not yet traveled to the US, what are the required documents to transfer H1B from one company to another?

Hello All, 

I have a H1B stamped and the visa is valid till end of 2024. I have not traveled on H1B visa and residing in India. My current sponsor is not helping me find a job. So I have started searching for jobs myself. What is the process to transfer h1B visa from the current sponsor to new company while residing in India, since I do not have a SSN number or paychecks from the current sponsor? Thanks in advance.

There is no concept of "transfer"

Since you have an H1 visa stamp, you would be considered cap counted. Hence any employer can file and get an H1 petition approved for you. Then you should be able to travel on the existing visa and the new petition approval.

It is an employer's petition. You find a suitable employer who needs your skills and will file for your H1. Your remit is to find an employer who will file a petition for you. Use networking, talk to friends in H1 status, and find a suitable employer.
