MYGCEAD Posted January 16 Report Share Posted January 16 Company A has sponsored the GC and I485 is still pending approval, but have received the GC EAD. However, continuing on H1b status with Company A. Meanwhile, have received an offer from Company B for a similar or better position to join on GC EAD. Is it legal to join Company B on GC EAD, while continuing with Company A on H1b status? or one cannot continue on H1b and GC EAD simultaneously? If allowed to work on GC EAD in Company A, can one continue with Company A, while accepting Company B offer as both will be on GC EAD? Is this acceptable? Thanks! Quote Link to comment
pontevecchio Posted January 18 Report Share Posted January 18 The EAD you have permits unrestricted work. If you use the EAD, the H1 status is gone. Working for two companies at the same time is subject to Contractual limitations. Quote Link to comment
