But due to some family reasons I withdrawn my approved H-1B and continued in H4. I didn't work on H-1B anytime. Could you please help me know If I can renew my old H-1B without going into lottery? Attorney_24 Posted January 12 Report Share Posted January 12 It appears that you may have to go through the H-1B lottery again as the H-1B Petition was withdrawn before it went into effect, and you never held H-1B status.
