Information required for H1B stamping from India

Hi,

My wife was on L2 and then her employer filed for H1B and she changed her status in USA. She has planned to travel to India. So while coming back to USA she needs to get her visa stamped. She is going to apply in Kolkata Consulate.

I need to know what are all the documents they are asking when they are handing the 221 g? She is a full time employee of an IT firm and works in their own office. Is there any risk in getting her H1B stamped?

How would anybody know without knowing detailed facts about her, her company and her past history. From what you describe she should be fine if she is in valid H1 status.
