Change of Skillset: Impact on GC/Approved i140

 I am on H1 and have an approved i140, waiting for PD to be current for years like many others. If there is an opportunity within my current employer to change technology/skill set , and employer is okay, can I do it? Its not a drastic change but a progressive one. Started and filed H1b under Application Administration, then moved to Application Admin in the cloud (H1b transfer), now planning to move to some under skillset within cloud (like Security/Networking etc).  I understand H1b amendment has to be done. Anything else? Any impact to GC?

Any impact to Priority Date?

Priority date belongs to the GC route.  H1b and GC are two different parallel routes.  I dont think this will impact your GC priority date.  Good Luck.
