swatik
Hello! My H-1B was filed in 2016 cycle and got picked up in lottery and approved in Feb 2017. My status auto changed from H4 to H-1 as part of approval. I never worked and Voluntarily got it revoked. I do have receipt notice but not actual approved I-797 petition. I want to revive/renew my H-1B again without going into lottery process. Can It be done? Could you please guide. Regards, Swati Quote Link to comment
Zodiac System
It will be tough to revive/renew without the actual approved I-797 petition copy. Try contacting your employer who filed your H1b in 2016/2017 and request for a copy of the actual I-797 from him/his attorney. Good Luck. Quote Link to comment
Attorney_20
Yes this is possible since you were counted in the H1B lottery and have not used the entire 6 year time available in H1B status. Quote Link to comment
