Mani90
Hello Our parent has overstayed for 6 days after the i94 expired at the end of 6 months during covid times. Will it affect any future travels. Please help us if we need to get a new visa stamped in India because of this. Quote Link to comment
newacct
If they did not have a pending Extension of Stay or Change of Status application, then they would have triggered INA 222(g), which means the visa they used to enter the US is automatically voided, and they can only apply for US visas in their country of nationality from now on. Mani90
Thank you for the response. Should i get the new visa if they want to travel again? Will there be any issue? This was a last minute travel plan change during covid times. We had to reschedule the ticket for them. Quote Link to comment
