H1B transfer was filed with the new employer before the I94 expiry and I joined the new employer with the pending receipt but they are unable to verify the I9 and terminated my job. Zodiac System Posted November 10, 2023 Report Share Posted November 10, 2023 (edited) Your new employer should E-verify with I-9, once they have the H1b transfer approved. But if the employment is terminated you are out of status and will need to get another H1B petition approved and leave the U.S. to use/apply for an H1B visa to reenter in H1B status.
