I know it's required only for h1b transfer purposes to be submitted to the USCICS when the new employer is willing to do transfer. Quote Link to comment
Zodiac System Posted November 7, 2023 Report Share Posted November 7, 2023 (edited) I797 + DL and/or passport ID is the starting point which eventually leads to a transfer when a candidate is selected. Employers / consultancies ask for I797 copy as well as Driver's license (ID copy), to send it to the client, after which interviews are set up.
