Naresh Reddy
In 2021, I was in India and my previous employer applied for H1B petetion which is approved by USCIS. But they didn't proceeded for stamping. In 2022, I resigned there and moved to Canada on Open Work Permit. Now I am working in a new company. I wanted to utilize my approved petetion, So I checked with USICS and got my approved I129 document which is valid till Aug'24 through right to information portal. Now Is it possible for me to travel to US with new employer or with any other consultancy? Please let me know. Edited October 14, 2023 by Naresh Reddy Quote Link to comment

JoeF
Generally, to be considered counted for the quota, you have to start working on the H1, or at least get the H1 visa stamp. Only then can you avoid the lottery. Quote Link to comment
