Pinkycutie
Hello, I have my stamped Visa until 2024 and my H-1B got transferred to a new company and it's approved until 2026 under counselor processing. Due to an emergency i need to travel out of country. Is it mandatory to go for stamping as i already have stamped Visa. Quote Link to comment
Zodiac System
Your status is the same i.e. H1-B status. Therefore you do not need a new visa. Carry your original H1b approval with you for showing at POE (port of immigration) on your way back so you can get an I-94 valid until 2026. Make sure you have enough validity of One+ year in your passport. Good Luck. Quote Link to comment

Attorney_13
In general, an individual with a valid and unexpired H1B visa fore employer A can use that visa to re-enter the U.S. pursuant to a new H1B approval with employer B. At the port of entry, be sure to present the new approval notice with employer B. After entry, make sure to check the I-94 card online to be sure the validity period matches employer B's approval. If not, contact a qualified immigration attorney to discuss your options. Quote Link to comment
