bsk2016 Posted August 3, 2023 Report Share Posted August 3, 2023 Could you please help me again ? I am on H1B and got laid off in June. My grace period ends on 20th Aug 2023. I am planning to start my move to H4 on 10th Aug with 10 days to spare before grace period ends. COS from H1 to H4 typically takes few months . It is possible that during that time I may get a job offer , and employer would be ready to transfer H1. Will this transfer back to H1 have to wait until H4 is approved? Or can it be done in parallel so that H4 is adjudicated and H1 receipt number is obtained for joining. Please help Quote Link to comment
