Is it possible for H-1B workers Parents to extend their stay on B2 visa?

Hi,

I am on H-1B visa, My mother has B2 visa (multiple entries). I have a couple of questions:

1. Can she extend her stay here in the US? If yes, how long can she extend?

2. What should be a good period to reenter the US after going back to India? For example, she came on 01/01/2023 and she went back to India on 05/31/2023. Can she reenter the US after 1 month?

1. She can try. Each B2 extension of stay can be applied for at most 6 months.

2. Technically, sure. There is no rule on needing to be outside the US for any amount of time. Of course, the more frequently she is in the US, the more likely she will be denied entry for immigrant intent.
