H1b receipt not received from USCIS

My last day with previous employer was 02/06/2023 because of recent layoffs, new employer filed for H1 transfer in regular processing within 60 days of termination, USCIS received package on 03/30/2023 and filing fee check was cashed by USCIS on 04/03/2023. I started working for the new employer from 04/01/2023 since package was accepted by USCIS on 03/30/2023. I am waiting for the receipt notice so I can upgrade to premium processing but so far no receipt number or RFE. I am concerned of going out of status if USCIS fails to send a receipt notice, called USCIS few times but they are not able to find my application in their system ? Can we file a fresh application ? Didn't file H4 for my wife as she already has one valid till 2025 and working on EAD, Can she continue to work ? What are my options ?

When USCIS cashes the check, it mentions the case number on the cashed check.  You can also try upgrading your petition to premium with the help of this cashed check with the case number mentioned on it, which will lead do a faster response from USCIS.  Good Luck.
