Anjali Jayakumar
I am studying in USA holding an International passport with F1 Visa. My SSN application has been rejected due to the name disparity among various docs. So, if I split my name on the passport, major issues can be resolved. So in the future, if I wish to travel back to my home country or any other place, will the name difference between my VISA (on my old passport) and my new passport with a name-split be an issue in any case? And if the VISA needs to be modified according to the name on my new passport, then what is the procedure for the same as there are no drop box appointments available in my home country for the time being. pontevecchio
You will need to carry both passports and documentation of the name change if any. You will need to inform your School of the fact and make sure your passport name is reflected in you Edited February 23 by pontevecchio Quote Link to comment
