H1b amendment of location change has rfe - Can I get promoted while this is going on?

I applied for location change h1b amendment, but got RFE on that. Now I am worried if my promotion will be not happen this cycle due to this?

If you have a change in role and job duties due to promotion, as well as wage rate, while replying to RFE, your employer/attorney can mention that in the RFE response and it should be good.
