Dharma_pm
I have been on a H1B visa since Oct 2006. I have an approved I140 (Priority Date: Oct 3rd 2011, EB2) from one of my previous employers and moved to a few other employers and also stayed outside of the USA. Below is the timeline. >>>Oct 2006 - Entered USA with a new H1B with employer A.>>>Oct 2011 - EB2 Priority Date with employer B - Oct 3rd 2011.>>>Oct 2018 - Relocated back to home country - India.>>>Nov 2021 - My priority date final action date became current.>>>Nov 2021 - H1B Cap-exempt approved with employer C for 1 year till Nov 2022.>>>Apr 2022 - Entered back to the USA with employer C.>>>Oct 2022 - Moved to employer D with 1 year validity only (since priority date is current) till Sep 2023.With my priority date being current and since I already received exceptions for the last 2 H1B transfers (employer C & D), I would like your feedback if there are any options I have to extend my visa while I continue with the green card processing with employer D? Please note that my priority date Oct 3rd 2011 is only within a few days of the final action date published in the March 2023 bulletin (Oct 8th 2011) if it makes any difference. Quote Link to comment
Zodiac System
H1b work authorization is a very good backup while your GC is under process. Good Luck. Quote Link to comment
