My current active I-797A is valid until May-2023 Newest inactive I-797A starts from May-2023 to November 2026(My employer filed the extension) My dropbox appointment is done on 4th January and I submitted all the documents, including a copy of the active and inactive I-797A I might have incorrectly used the petition or receipt number from the newest inactive I-797A in DS-160. My passport is still with embassy. Is this a concern? Do you recommend contacting the US embassy to rectify this if it requires correction? Sincerely, Laxman Quote Link to comment
Zodiac System Posted January 10, 2023 Report Share Posted January 10, 2023 On your way back to US, show them the new I-797A so that you will get I-94 until November 2026. Please make sure that your passport has one year or more validity. Good Luck. Quote Link to comment
