kc2020 Posted December 22, 2022 Report Share Posted December 22, 2022 My spouse is working in the US on L1 and I have an L2 visa. I have not moved to the US yet and am working in India. There is a business meeting planned (duration 1 week) with my colleagues in the US in February. Usually B1 visa would be required but since that wait is long and I already have L2, I wanted to know if I can use this visa to travel. The meeting is in a different city from where my spouse lives. pontevecchio Posted December 22, 2022 Report Share Posted December 22, 2022 "In 2021, USCIS announced that L-2 spouses would be authorized to work as a matter of status, upon entry to the U.S." It would be in your best interest and also useful for the future to consult a lawyer with specifics and have the company pay for the consultation.
