pp745
Hello, I lost my Dad and Grandmother last year and brought my Mother with me In Dec 7 2021. Her I-94 extension expired on June 6, 2022. But I applied for an extension in April 2022. She had some health issue during her stay. So during her I-539 application, we requested her stay till December 30, 2022, which is more than 180 days after I-94 expired. We haven't yet received any results yet on her extension application. She is leaving on December 24. Do you see any issue with her stay for more than 180 days after I-94 expires? Please advise. I would sincerely appreciate it. newacct
If a decision is not made on her application before she leaves, she's fine. But if her extension of stay is approved or denied before she leaves (approval would only grant her 6 months of stay which would have already ended), her visa would be automatically voided.
