H1 APPOINTMENT : CHOSE CLEARANCE RECEIVED OR DEPARTMENT AUTHORIZATION

Hi,

I do not have a 'clearance received' annotation on my H1B visa page but I was not aware of it while booking the appointment. I thus have booked the 'regular' / 'in-person' appointment instead of the 'Dropbox' appointment. I had the following question which I hope you could help me with :

Should I continue with the 'regular'  appointment since I already have it and let things roll or should I cancel and try to rebook a 'dropbox' appointment. I'd loose my current appointment in this case and it pretty hard to get appointments in these times. 

Will I be in any trouble if I just go for the regular interview ?
