H1b Transfer - I9

Hi Team,

I am working for an employer A on H1B and I got an job with employer B and Visa transfer is in progress in premium processing . My new employer B is asking to fill the I9 section 1( through Equifax ) . I told my new employer I will be joining after my Visa approval , is it good to fill the I9 before Visa approval and before joining the company  ?. If  yes it can be filled , I expect another 30 days to join the new company after my visa approval , how long earlier the I9 can be filled before joining the company ?

I dont see any issues in filling I9 before hand as you have already accepted the job offer and your transfer is in progress.
