Green card for parents by US citizen studying in the USA

Hi,

I am an US citizen currently pursuing my Master's in the United States. Both of my parents are Indians and currently staying in India. 

1. What is the process to apply for a Green Card?

2. Since I'm a student, will the process be different? And do I have to show that I will be able to sponsor them?

3. We used to live in the USA till 2006. Both my parents had a green card during that time. But since we moved to India it got expired and my dad had to hand over the expired green card since he came for a business trip in between on a work visa. Will there be a different process for this case?

Same as for everybody else. You need to be able to support them.

You should be able to use your parent's assets in the matter.
