I need to travel to India for my marriage and none of consulates have any appointments. Is there any way to travel to India and come back? does marriage can be used as a reason for getting emergency appointment? whats documents needs to be submitted for that? Quote Link to comment

No, its not an emergency because it's planned. Wait a little longer and situation will get better. Alternative : Travel to India- get married- work from outside US with employer approval- come back with H4 dependent when appointments are available. Quote Link to comment
lovely Posted November 6, 2021 Report Share Posted November 6, 2021 You need to book an appointment and then schedule your travel, right now due to COVID you need NIE as well apart from stamping, marriages were never considered an emergency however, you can check the categories and see if you qualify.
