ChicagoConsultant Posted September 16, 2021 Report Share Posted September 16, 2021 I lost my job in Feb 2021 and returned to India to search for new jobs as I could not find employers who could sponsor in 60 days. I am on my 9th year of H1B and have my i140 approved (priority date Nov 2015). My last i797 is approved till Aug 2023 but I don't have a visa stamp. If I do find a new employer that can sponsor my H1B , will I need to go through the lottery again or would they be able to file a Cap exempt petition for H1B transfer? Quote Link to comment
