Applying marriage gc but have class 3 misdemeanor for excessive speeding

Hello,

I recently got married to a US citizen and I am planning to apply for a green card through marriage.

I got a class 3 misdemeanor for excessive speeding in Arizona in 2016 and I paid a fine of 380$ in court. Is this going to cause denial on my application ? Do I need to take any steps before I apply ? Can I apply on my own or do I need to go through an immigration lawyer because of the above issue ?

You should discuss the situation with an Immigration Lawyer first before applying. My 2 cents is that this should not prevent you from getting a GC.
